Swift's stories of romantic love in the midst of heartbreak and young love are gaining her acclaim in the 21st Century. Swift was interested in music since a young stage of her life. Swift quickly rose up the ranks, starting as a child actor before performing in front of an audience of thousands. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of an Philadelphia 76ers match when she was 11. She was already creating songs. After that, she took up guitar. Swift, who took her influences from the music of Shania Twain and her band the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm of country music, composed the songs of her own to convey her feelings of alienation. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee when she was 13 when they decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm. This gave Swift to spend more time trying to find labels that would promote country music in Nashville.
